Dr. Bruce Gao

Dr. Bruce Gao is an Endourology Fellow and Urologist at the University of California, Irvine. He specializes in minimally invasive urologic surgery, including robotic and laparoscopic assisted procedures, HoLEP, and complex stone disease management. His research focuses on surgical innovation and medical devices, earning grants from the NIH and UCI Beall Applied Innovation. Beyond medicine, he co-founded Simply Solar Innovations, a company that improved solar panel efficiency and expanded sustainable energy access to people in 136 countries. His work integrates innovation with patient care, striving to advance surgical science and alleviate human suffering with precision and compassion.
